DETAILS OF ORGANIC SEED RAKHIS
Each seed rakhi is made from rare indigenous cotton. The organic cotton is grown in Paradsinga village, MP, and is converted into handspun yarn over charkhas by women of the Gram Sewa Mandal in Wardha, Maharashtra.
The rakhis are naturally dyed by artisans in Erode, Tamil Nadu, and are then converted into handcrafted bands embedded with Organic and non-GMO seeds*. Each seed rakhi is wrapped around a seed paper card, which is also plantable like the seed rakhi. The handmade paper cards are made with recycled paper and are also embedded with organic and non-GMO seeds.
