AgriExpo Orgánico Agrícola Latinoamérica 2021 is an expo-cum-conference that promotes agroecology and organic agribusiness in Latin America.

The event, organised by the Chilean organic promotion platforms AOA Chile and Agro Mapu Business, brings together the different stages of organic agriculture in Latin America and will take place virtually on November 24 and 25, 2021.

During the conference, internationally renowned professionals and businessmen who will approach issues such as ‘Technology in Organic Production’, ‘Benefits of Agroecology’, and ‘Access to Biofertilisers’.

In addition, there will be 5 exhibit pavilions with stands for public and private organisations, as well as, for representatives and organisations of farmers.

The event seeks to promote the development of an agriculture committed to the environment: the preservation of nature, the responsible use of raw materials and the elimination of chemical products as ways of preserving the health of those who work on the land, as well as, that of consumers.

SPEAKERS AT AGRIEXPO ORGANICO 2021

Among the professionals who have already confirmed their attendance, the agrifood specialist Antonio Domene Carmona will be present, who at the moment serves as Vice President of the largest agricultural biotechnology center in Europe, Kimitec. Domene will talk about his work with biostimulants, biopesticides, probiotics and natural prebiotics.

There will also be the award-winning Cuban academic and engineer, Alejandro F. Hernandez Zardón who has dedicated himself to the study of organic biofertilisers and insecticides.

Another exhibitor is the Spanish businessman, Pedro Carrillo Donaire, Founder & CEO of ec2ce, a revolutionary technological innovation that can predict the behaviour of agricultural variables anywhere in the world in an easy and accessible way, helping in the efficient use of natural resources.

In addition, the presence of Carlos Castellanos, a professional dedicated to technological innovation in the agroecological sector, has already been confirmed.

Alberto Castillo Cárdenas, promoter of sustainable territorial development in the Amazon regions; Lola Molina, owner of a model organic farm in Guatemala; and Volkert Engelsman, Founder of Eosta, a leading organic Dutch company, will all attend, among other luminaries of the agriculture sector.

The event aims to promote agroecology in Chile, Latin America and the world at large, bring together the different stages of organic production through stakeholders, facilitate access to agricultural technology, create contact, information and support networks, advise producers, facilitate community production, and create access to the world market for small and medium producers in Latin America.
