‘Farmse on Wheels’ will directly deliver organic groceries to housing societies in the city.

Since the pandemic, demand has increased for healthy and organic products conveniently at the doorstep. More importantly, social distancing has rendered home delivery essential.

This has prompted the launch of ‘Farmse on Wheels’, an initiative by Farmse and Greenobazaar.com.

Launched on January 16, 2020, the Farmse van will cater to localities in Ahmedabad initially, but will eventually expand to other cities in India.

“The idea behind the van was to offer people 100% organic vegetables, organic fruits, and organic groceries directly in their homes,” says Rajan Patel, Founder, Farmse & Greenobazaar.com.

The customised van will also deliver pre-ordered groceries and other products which will not be displayed in the van but are available at Farmse’s two retail stores.

For the initiative, Farmse has tied up with residential societies and has allocated days and time slots to specific areas.

Since 2016, greenobazaar.com has been an active e-commerce player, consistently delivering organic and eco-friendly products across India.

Farmse is currently in talks with several more residential societies and will soon publish more slots across new locations.
