1] Purchase the Organic Directory to select adequate wholesale suppliers of organic products, along with private label, organic certification and packaging companies.

2] If you are a retailer,  shortlist finished products from organic brands and stock them in your store/e-commerce site.
3] If you are starting a brand of your own, select adequate wholesale suppliers with contract manufacturing/private label facilities and proceed with your order.

4] As a brand, you require organic certification. You need to contact an authorised organic certification agency for this.

5] If you are starting an organic cosmetics brand, you require the COSMOS certification from the French certification agency ECOCERT. In case you do not find this feasible, you can ensure that the ingredients you buy from your ingredient wholesale supplier are certified organic. And mention this on your packaging for the benefit of the consumer.

6] If you have a farm and want to get it certified, again, you need to contact an authorised organic certification agency, as mentioned in point 4. If you need advice on organic farming practices, you should contact an organic farming consultant with credentials in agriculture as well as expertise. The contact details of organic farming consultants are given in the Organic Directory.

7] Organic certification agencies provide certifications for both domestic sale, as well as, export. For export, separate certification is requisite. Your certification agency will advise you.

8] Once your products are ready, exhibit them in organic-specific trade fairs to showcase them to buyers. In case of export, participate at international trade fairs.
