QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
 
Our customers prioritise the health and livelihood of all the people involved in the production of the products they buy. They are happy to pay a premium for it. But they must be able to see it. Hence, we require radical transparency and traceability from our suppliers.
 
Suppliers must be willing to share relevant details of planting, growing, and harvesting via text, pictures, and/or videos.  It even means sharing the details of the various components of product pricing, and even the labour component, if possible.
 
Suppliers that buy from many different farms that they don’t control will have a difficult time being transparent and may not be able to give us the consistency we require. We conduct lab tests using multiple random samples from every batch to verify consistency. 
 
Please see as example, our current supplier, Stork’s Nest Farm in Europe, which provides us with our black cumin seed oil.
 
As much as we’re passionate about our mission and values, we understand radical transparency is not easy, and that it’s a work in progress. We don’t expect perfection, for we are far from being perfect ourselves:)
