Climate Conscious Food Products (CCFP) a women’s enterprise founded by Neera Bhatnagar and Ketan Patel, launched its flagship T-TALES Bio Café at the Hyatt hotel in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on February 5.

Over the next 2 years, the company plans to launch approx. 50 Organic Cafés across India in partnership with 5 star hotels.

The organic café serves organic tea infused foods and drinks in a one-stop shop where handcrafted items by Jalinga tea workers are retailed, followed by Organic Tea Flowers, Organic Herbs, Organic Honey & Organic Coffee.

“The USP of this Bio Café is that for the very first time in India Organic fresh tea leaves (unprocessed) will be offered to customers,” says Ketan Patel, Director, T-Tales.

Organic fresh tea leaves contain 5 times the health benefits (EGCG, anti-oxidants, etc.) of processed tea (black/green, etc). All products in the café are on sale—including tea bush tables, rice husk art made by Assamese artists, and of course, the organic tea.

The T-TALES Organic tea brand is available in 100+ hotels across India, including Marriott, Hyatt, etc.

It is very interesting to see development in the organic sector within India. A cafe addressing a global climate issue aswell as promoting organic products of India that’s commendable.
